Previously called 'Leafield Deer Management Services' we are a privately owned partnership, formed in 1995 by Owen Beardsmore & Peter Pursglove. After much deliberation we changed our name to Cervus-UK in spring 2005, to reflect our broader spectrum of customer services that we are now able to offer. These include Professional Deer Management, Training & Education, Accompanied Deer Stalking, Foreign Hunting Trips & related products and services.

Our Deer Management objectives are to provide a discreet & reliable service to Farms, Estates & Forestry companies, protecting tree stocks, reducing farm crop damage, and where possible provide a valuable sporting financial contribution.

We try to maintain a healthy and well balanced deer population, which in number & damage caused is acceptable to farmer & forester alike. Within our partnership we have over 40 years experience of practical Deer Management. We provide Training Services to the British Association of Shooting & Conservation (BASC) and have been responsible for the successful DMQ 1 training (Deer Management Qualification) of over 400 of their professional & amateur deer stalkers in Great Britain & Ireland.
